It's Goodbye To Google - by Harvey Segal (& Mike @Wiz Kids)

You read that right.

I've told Google to push off. Stop spidering me.

I no longer want my online business to depend on its ever changing whims as to what makes a good or bad ranking.

I don't want to spend time collecting thousands of backward links then find that they are probably worthless because the anchor text does not contain a suitable keyword, or the site does not have sufficient page rank, or whatever the latest algorithm is.

I don't want to buy expensive cloaking tools and run the risk of penalization.

I don't want to be bothered about whether a domain has a static or dynamic IP address or have to use different hosts to make a network of minisites.

What's that you say ? You don't need fancy tricks - just provide good relevant content.

My answer?

Nonsense.

I have a huge content site devoted solely to ClickBank, the only one of its kind.

If you wanted to find the most relevant content for a search on the keyword 'ClickBank' don't you think that would be at the top?

Well Google used to agree with you. It was ranked number 2, with only ClickBank.com itself at number one.

Today it is ranked ... wait for it ... number 426.

It is beaten out of sight by sites which have nothing to do with ClickBank but happen to mention that keyword once.

I asked a search engine expert about this and he suggested that it was due to keyword density, in other words too many mentions of the word ClickBank.

Well that has to be the case - the site is after all a 'Complete Guide to ClickBank'

His advice - try replacing the word ClickBank occasionally e.g. use 'CB'. No way.

That was the last straw and became the inspiration for me to develop a revolutionary approach to getting traffic.

It led to me being called 'The Guru who said goodbye to Google' in the marketing forums.

And this new approach ?

It uses some of the fundamental pillars of Internet marketing that you already know - techniques which will never become obsolete.

But they are combined together in a new way and with a viral twist that you won't have seen before.

It includes giving out free information in a certain way and I show you how exactly in my book, The Ultimate SuperTip.

Here's what others said:

"I had to take a walk round my garden"
If you are thinking of expanding your internet activities this year, do read Harvey Segal's book on viral marketing. There's no charge for it but it packs a punch.
When I read it I had to take a walk round my garden to think through the implications of his system and then write down some notes! I'm still not sure I've exploited all his tips effectively yet. As I said, no charge.
... William Charlwood, factsaboutadsense.com

"The amazing package"
The full potential your system has for promoting my various products is only just beginning to occur to me. Not to mention the amazing package of ebooks and tools you have thrown in.
... Peter Roe, MindWaves.co.uk

"So compelling, so mesmerizing"
Your ebook was so compelling, so mesmerizing, so "suspending of my rational thinking", that I rushed to hit the button at the end
... Terry Rayburn, graceforlife.com

"Simply astonishingly intelligent"
I read a lot of stuff on the Internet, especially about marketing. Some is great, but most is pretty average. However, yesterday I downloaded Harvey Segal's "The Ultimate SuperTip" in which he reveals a few things I already knew and a couple of ideas that are simply astonishingly intelligent. (Wish I'd thought of them!).

As a small to medium size business you always have to be on the look out for services that you can use to make your hard earned dollar go further. Everyone knows Google is the king when it comes to search engines but did you know that they also offer some great services that will help you grow your business online. Here a list of a few of my favorites that you can integrate quickly to your online activities.

Google AdWords

Most business owner know by now what Google AdWords is. For those of you who don't it is the ads that show up on the top and right hand side when ever you do a search on Google. They also show up on the content partner web sites when ever that page is shown. This is a huge network and reaches up to 80% of online users according to Google. This is a Pay Per Click model of advertising and you only pay for an ad when someone clicks on it.

Google Analytics

Having such valuable information like what keyword phrase someone searched to find your web site or what web site they came from to visit you could be priceless if you know what to do with it. Google Analytics enable you to track this type of important details of your web site visitors. It is also integrated with Google Checkout and Google AdWords to make your life a little easier. This service is free to use with your Google AdWords account.

Google Website Optimizer

This is a new tool that is still in beta but should be available Q1 of 2007 for everyone. With Google Website Optimizer you can use the power of Multi-variate testing to optimize your web site. Instead of using the traditional A/B split testing you can test several things at once giving you more information for your marketing dollar. This will be a very a great tool for those who decide to integrate it onto their web sites.

Google Local Search

Local searches are on the rise and Google current handles about 30% of them. If you have a business that caters to a geographical region then you will want to be listed with them. With more and more people every month searching for specific things in their local area it can be a vital tool for your business growth that currently not a lot of businesses are taking advantage of. You can go to http://local.google.com then look for "Add/Edit your Business" link to put your business online.

Google Checkout

If you are wanting to add some type of online payment processor but don't want the hassle of setting up a merchant account then this could be a good solution for you. This will help you easily add features to help you accept money online. Since they are wanting to compete with such online payment processors like PayPal you can get some great deals for processing your payment through them. At the time of this writing they also will give you AdWords advertising credits for using Google Checkout.

Google Radio ads

This is a brand new service that is only available to select advertisers but look for it to be available to the general public early 2007. This essentially will allow advertisers to buy radio spots just as easily as you put up your Google AdWords ads. This will make it so that you can track not only your online ads but also your radio ads as well. Google bought dMarc Broadcasting in January of 2006 to help them facilitate the transition to radio ads. If this takes off as well as the PPC ads did you will begin to see Google's influence in the offline marketing arena shortly.

This by no means is a complete list of all of Google's services but this are the ones that I like. If you keep an eye on what they do you can find some very interesting trends. Make sure you start by taking advantage of what a billion dollar company has to offer you and help grow your business today

Know More About The Google AdSense Payment System

Posted on : 19-05-2010 | By : Work At Home Blog | In : Internet Marketing

0

Wish to set up an account with Google AdSense or confused and thinking hard about it? When your check arrives, check out this Google AdSense payment guide. This guide contains all the requisite information that you need to know, including the payment cycle of AdSense .

To start with, you need to set up an account with AdSense . Fill the online form, provide your personal information, furnish all tax details, select a mode of payment, enter PVN (phone verification number) and PIN (personal identification number). After furnishing these details, your account gets set up in Google AdSense .

When you generate an unpaid income of $100, Google sends you the payment check. For instance, if your entire unpaid income reaches $100 in January and you have furnished all the details as mentioned above, then you get a payment check in February end.

However, if your unpaid income has not touched the $100 mark, whatever earnings you have generated gets rollover to subsequent month. The amount accrues until total earnings reach $100. After this, you will receive the payment within 30 days.

How to Track the Income:

You can easily track your AdSense performance and income through the reports tab present in your account. This tab has, two more sub tabs, overview reports and advanced reports. To get general information of your income, refer to the overview tab. If you want comprehensive details of your account, go through advanced tabs.

To check previous records of the payment, refer to payment history. Now, click the link that reads out earning details. Check this link to know about payment details of each month. However, your name appears on the link only after you receive the first payment.

You can also view exchange rate to convert the payment in your local currency and check whether you have received the payments accordingly.

How to Calculate the Earnings:

At the last day of each month, Google AdSense system identifies your account and checks for generated amount, which has to be at least $100. Now, if your account contains $100 or may be more than that, the account is sent for verification and approval. Within few days of the subsequent month, the system sends you all details, which you can view by checking the history page.

Earning Issues:

After few days, the system processes your income and sends your payment, depending on the mode of payment you have chosen. If you do not receive this payment within 30 days or until 25th of next month, you will need to apply for reissue.

How to Hold the Payments:

If you do not wish to receive your check the other month, opt for payment holding. Here you just need to set up a self-hold in AdSense account. Although, you will not receive the unpaid income, the system accrues your earlier earnings. However, if you want to hold your account, you need to make the changes before 15th of the ongoing month.
Thus, you can keep a track of your Google AdSense payments.

Introduction To Search Engine Optimization SEO

Posted on : 19-05-2010 | By : Work At Home Blog | In : Internet Marketing

0

In this article we shall discuss about Search engine optimization, its importance and the various techniques used in the SEO process. In the next article we shall discuss in detail about website submission to search engines and directories.

Search Engine Optimization is the process to improve the visibility of a website in the Search Engines via natural/organic search results for specific keywords. The process involves on-page and off-page optimization of the website.

Importance of SEO

More and more people are using the web to search for information and products and, and this is an activity more popular second to email. How do they search? People use keywords in major search engines and look for related information. Search Engines identify the relevant content for the keywords and list them in the natural results. Visitors tend to browse about 20 results and it is important that the website ranks high for those keywords, thus increasing the chance of visitors coming to your website.

For a higher ranking in the natural results nobody can pay the search engine, as search engines crawl the website initially to identify relevant contents and index its details and later complex algorithms are used to check whether the website is useful and more relevant to the search. Hence to rank high in the search results it is very important for the website to be optimized.

The most widely used search engine is Google and here are some statistics about the search engines. As of 2007, the global search engine market for Google and Yahoo were 71.6% and 11.1% respectively, and the share in the UK market were 80.2% for Google and 5.5% for Yahoo (Courtesy: Enquisite's Zwicky). This clearly indicates the dominance of Google among the search engines.

Optimization Techniques

So far we read about search engine optimization, its importance and Google's dominance, let's now discuss about the various techniques used to optimize a website and this can be classified as on-page and off-page optimization.

On-page optimization

The techniques involved for on-page optimization are,

1) Tag optimization - The title tag and meta tags are the first SEO technique and what you place in the title tag is important. The keywords and description content of the website are to be added in meta tags.

2) Site map creation - Linking all pages of your website using a site map is essential. Both search engines and visitors use site map, hence the website requires to be user friendly.

3) Creation of Robots.Txt file - The most important aspect in creating a robots.txt is to make sure that it is done correctly. If the file contains incorrect rules then it can completely block all the spiders and prevent them from indexing your website.

4) Page size/Website Load time check - The smaller the size of the web page the easier and faster for the search engine to crawl your website. It is known that visitors will be annoyed if the websites take time to load forever and it's been confirmed that 75% of the users will not return to the websites that take longer than four seconds.

5) HTML Validation - Validating a website is very important to ensure that the search engines index your web pages, load the web page faster, check for broken links and make the pages easily accessible by users.

6) Alt Text - For browsers that don't show the images in the website alt text is an alternative which will show the visitor what it's about. The important keywords are to be placed in the alt text but we must be very careful by not over doing it.

Off-page optimization

The off-page optimization techniques are building links and submitting websites to directories.

Buildings links is the most important aspect of SEO. Search engines consider the credibility of the links to the websites, they look for links that are relevant, high ranking and have keywords in the link text. To keep it simple, the search engine looks for quality, quantity and strength of the links.

When you build links, simultaneously you have to submit the website to directories. Directory submission is the best way to get one way links, and when carried out effectively it could help promote your website and bring success to your online business.

Good, effective search engine marketing takes time and effort. The process is accumulative, and the more time and effort that is put into it, the more marketing power your website will have.

The online market is increasingly becoming competitive, and those companies who perform SEO for their websites will have more advantage in visitors and customers and can remain top among their competitors.

Is Your Business At The Bottom Of Your To Do List

Posted on : 19-05-2010 | By : Work At Home Blog | In : Internet Marketing

0

If you are a female solo professional, chances are that your business is not making as much money as you'd like it to. Perhaps when you got the thought to go out on your own you held a vision of more flexibility, a freer schedule, and making at least as much money as you were making working for someone else. Perhaps you even secretly thought that you had the chance to make it big, pulling in much more money, paying off your mortgage, easily paying for a child's college education.

Let me ask you.....where is your business now, compared to that vision? Where is it compared to your secret thought? Have you given up on that dream?

I read a story about makeovers in a recent edition of O magazine that made me think about how women so often put their business at the bottom of their to-do list. We do it to ourselves and our businesses, actually. We think we're being unselfish and giving, taking care of others before ourselves. But are we, really? Listen to one comment from the O makeover article:

"With the new looks came a new attitude. What a makeover does for all of us is point out that there are BIG possibilities for us all. Maybe we'll get the idea that from a makeover, we can take another step toward change in other areas of our lives."

Lack of attention to one's self is no way to teach our children to stand up and be counted, is it? Making sure that everyone else has new clothes while we schlep around in last year's sweats only makes us both look and feel at the bottom of the barrel. Paying for private lessons for our children while refusing to spend the money to take a workshop for ourselves sells ourselves and our business short.

Think about it. If you fail to give yourself and your business the nurturing you both deserve, you send a silent message that you are not worth your own time and care, and that your business isn't important enough to make a difference in anyone's life. Is that the truth? I doubt it. But you are showing how little you believe you can make it really big when you continue to play safe and small. You are refusing to serve others with your business, in a way that only you can uniquely serve.

When you really tune in to your old business vision what does it look like? Have you lost your early enthusiasm? How can you get it back? And if you did, how much cleaner and better would you see the way to that secret vision you have? How much more freedom would you have to be with your friends and family? How much less worry over financial matters would you have? What kind of example would you set for family and friends and other entrepreneurs if you kick-started your business again and made it provide for you at a high level? It would be a powerful message, wouldn't it?

That's just not going to happen if you take care of everyone else's current needs first. Take care of yourself and your business, so that you have the wealth needed to take care of those you love. You aren't here to serve your family and friends everything on a platter. In fact, if you do, they will learn directly from you to lean on others rather than themselves. Is that what you want?

I heard a quote last week that really made me stop and think. "A strong focus now creates a different future later." How do you focus now on your business, so that you can have that different future? Here are three ways:

* Change your lifestyle and your schedule around so that you are spending at least two hours every single day building your business. No excuses. You are in business for yourself, right? Two hours a day is a bare minimum. Otherwise, your business is nothing more than a hobby. You can work part time, but you can't work no time. Two hours, minimum, every day.

* Create a calendar for the entire year. Plan in your vacation weeks, at least three long weekend retreat times for yourself to focus solely on your business, and time for learning what you don't know but need to know in order to build your income. If you are running out of hours in the week, get help for the low-level stuff and keep your eye on the stuff that creates future income.

* Get a mentor or a coach. Virtually every single wealthy business owner works with someone who can pull them out of the weeds when they need it, give them perspective, and save them a lot of time in mastering new tasks. No excuses. Don't tell yourself you can't afford it, tell yourself the cost of doing without is much higher than what you'll pay. Think return on investment, not cost. That's how a business owner thinks, after all. Are you one, or not?

I Became An Infopreneur And Now I Earn AdSense Income Daily The Secrets To My Success Revealed

Posted on : 19-05-2010 | By : Work At Home Blog | In : Internet Marketing

0

I used to think that I wanted to be an entrepreneur, but now I know that the infopreneur path is more my style. An infopreneur does not sell, promote, or solicit anything.... and yet they can earn as much money as they desire. It does not cost a lot of money to start this type of income venture, and it does not take years of training or experience. And you can even build your business on a topic that you have true interest and passion for, so you can actually enjoy making money rather than doing something that you hate. And infopreneur is someone who simply provides information, and monetizes it so that it earns money through a number of monetization models. There are many ways to do this, but I have found the most success by hosting my own information rich niche websites, and then monetizing the pages on each site with the Google AdSense program. Anyone can set up a website, place Google ads on it, and earn passive income around the clock.

There are millions of AdSense publishers, but not all of them earn a substantial amount of money. Some people only earn a couple bucks a day, and others do not even earn that much. But that does not mean the potential is not there. Some of us earn great incomes from AdSense, and many earn tens of thousands of dollars per month in passive income with their websites. The key is being able to generate traffic, lots and lots of traffic. The more website traffic you have, the more people will be exposed to your ads, and the more money you will earn. There are many methods of generating traffic, and I recommend using a combination of them to maximize visitors and profits. I primarily use search engine marketing to generate fresh traffic on a daily basis. To do this you will need to learn a little about search engine optimization, and you will need to create your site so that the engines rank it highly.

On top of the search engines, I drive traffic to my sites through a few other methods. Article marketing can be a great way to promote your website to your target audience. Write articles ans submit them to the free article directories. This not only drives extra traffic to your website but also gives your website inbound links, which is one of the biggest factors of search engine optimization. You can also promote your website with social mediums like Twitter and Facebook, and by becoming a valuable member to niche related forums and pointing to your site for more information. Combining these methods lets you drive enough traffic to sustain your infopreneur website and earn you a substantial amount of money. Once your website is generating a substantial amount of traffic, you can further monetize it by promoting various affiliate products and services, selling ad space, and a wide range of additional income streams.
There are millions of AdSense publishers, but not all of them earn a substantial amount of money. Some people only earn a couple bucks a day, and others do not even earn that much. But that does not mean the potential is not there.
As a young entrepreneur I have a passion for the internet business world. I enjoy sharing information about achieving financial freedom through passive income development. For more information visit Free Infopreneur Guide and A Guide to AdSens

How Social Networking Can Benefit Your Business

Posted on : 19-05-2010 | By : Work At Home Blog | In : Internet Marketing

0

These days social networking sites have expanded to reach beyond the teen crowd and out to hundreds of thousands, if not millions. These sites now have an incredibly large number and range of people using them daily for hundreds of reasons. One of the newest, and most profitable, reasons to use such sites is marketing. Social network sites may be one the easiest ways to market business names to thousands, and it all starts with the click of a mouse.

To start your adventure into the world of social networking, start by figuring out the type of people you want to target and start contributing to a social network community where you can find that target group. When you’ve found your community, begin posting in forums and on blogs to begin to build trust and recognition within the community. This will take some time, but it is worth it to establish trust with the users.

Once you’ve gotten the handle of the community (or communities) you’ve chosen, start a blog or page of your own and keep it updated and interesting. This will increase your recognition and legitimacy in the community. Try adding videos or podcast to your page to make it more interesting for your viewers. However, stay away from anything that seems like a commercial for your product as this will turn off community members and remove some of your legitimacy.

At first it may seem you are just playing around when using social networking sites, but be assured you are helping your business by being online. These sites create a more personal connection between your company and potential customers, making them trust your name. This trust leads to more referrals both through other social networking sites and among family and friends. Putting your name out on social networking sites will create “Word of Mouth” marketing, which is one of the most beneficial types of marketing you can get.

Social networking sites also, as mentioned earlier, reach a number of people it would be impossible to reach otherwise. The days of social networking sites being “teen only” are now gone and thousands of people are using these sites for professional gain as well. Adding your business name to multiple sites will also help your organic search placement in Google and Yahoo, giving you more business.

Finally, social networking sites give you the ability to get immediate feedback about products and services your business offers. After a blog or forum post you can look back at comments and see what users think. This immediate feedback can be priceless as it will give your business less lag time between the creation of new products. The feedback gained on these sites can also lead to new ideas from users. Forums and blogs are a great place to bounce ideas off one another and come up with new ones.

When posting on social networking sites, trust and legitimacy are most important. Stay away from using a fake name or having an impersonal script to use when posting comments in forums or blogs. If creating a blog, use original content or at least add commentary to articles or other posts you found. This will show your blog is not computer generated or simply a tool for gaining brand recognition.

Finally, don’t get carried away with adding yourself to sites. Try and limit yourself to two or three sites so you can make sure you put in the effort needed. Also, don’t try to connect with every users on every site. Doing so will be exhausting and impersonal. Look for the most influential users and try to create a connection there. This will give you more legitimacy within the community.

Although using social networking sites can seem time consuming, it is well worth the effort. This will get your business name out to a wide market and will help you build connections for the future when you promote new products or add special services. But the best part of social networking may be it is virtually free, granting only gain to your business. So what are you waiting for? Get out there and start networking!

How To Pick A Winning E Book Ith Master Resale Rights

Posted on : 19-05-2010 | By : Work At Home Blog | In : Internet Marketing

0

If you own an Internet Based business and are searching for a product to promote, you might have contemplated about purchasing an E-Book with Master resale rights, or even a collection of E-Books with Master resale rights.

If you were to check out 10 classified ads promoting E-Books with Master resale rights, it is highly likely that the majority of these offers contain products that are either:

1) Hugely out-of-date. With this common scenario, the Merchant will usually put on the market an information product that has been around on the Internet for a long time. The information is usually out-of-date and worthless. Another widespread scenario is to put together a brand new appealing Headline to an old sales page and try to advertise this as brand new material.

2) Insignificant real content with hidden advertisements. This scenario is highly well-liked and is beginning to crop up much more. The vendor sells you a brand new (or what appears to be brand new) informational product. There is regularly a flash Headline that looks like it would contain superior marketability. But as soon as you read through the writing, you discover that the information is just a marketing system directing you to other money making offers usually from the vendor.

This standard advertising system that you discover with E-Books promises to give you a selection of the most up-to-date-selling E-Books with full Master resale rights allowing you to replicate (copy) and resell that product as your own. This word "master resale rights" sounds brilliant to a brand new entrepreneur. The idea of owning a ready-made product is very tempting. Although, in many circumstances, this is merely a plan to get you to pay for the product. Why would you purchase Master resale rights and resale rights to out-dated material, basically a book of advertisements and marketing?

Your goal in Internet marketing is to keep your customers happy. Why? Initially, it's the done thing to do, and secondly, for the reason that pleased customers are repeat customers. To become profitable in Internet marketing, you must have repeat customers that appreciate your service and trust the quality of your products you provide. How Strategic Keyword Application Will Accelerate Your Internet Business Success

Posted on : 19-05-2010 | By : Work At Home Blog | In : Internet Marketing

0

Jockeying for a spot on Google Page One (GPO) for the most competitive term of your targeted niche market boils down to a good understanding and strategic use of certain keyword parameters which include among others: the anchor text of incoming links to your blog and the frequency with which those keywords occur in the posts of your blog, to mention but a few. Unfortunately Strategic Keyword Appliance (SKA) is not an exact science and truth be told leans more towards the realm of tricky art than established science!

If you are a new to the world of keyword research you will probably be rather impressed by keyword terms that boast millions of listings on Google’s index. So without further ado let us not confine ourselves to the abstract and hypothetical here but rather let’s get down and dirty with specific keyword examples.

Okay let’s consider the keyword: make money blogging.

If you type in the keyword term make money blogging in the Google search box you are will get in excess of 100,000,000 listings.

Wow, huh!

That’s right! Over 100 million websites (obviously including blogs) are indexed in Google’s database under the keyword term, make money blogging. Before I continue however there is a point I need to clarify.

The almighty deity of search otherwise known as Google has more than 700,000 servers variously dotted around the globe which hold the search giant’s data. What is important to note here with respect to that vast number of servers is that anytime someone types in a search query on Google that query of theirs is going to be shunted to any one of those thousands of servers. In other words the exact same query (keyword) typed into the Google search engine from two different IP addresses will return slightly different results, both in the number of listings as well as the positional arrangement of the various sites listed on the Google index.

In fact if you were to type in the same keyword query from the very same computer but through two separate Google search boxes from different browser windows (i.e., the IP address is one and the same) you will probably get slightly varied return listings displayed within the different browsers. This happens because those very identical keyword queries you just typed into the two different Google search boxes are redirected to different Google servers located round the globe.

The different Google servers house slightly different databases which would explain the variation in return listings. This process of retrieval from multiple databases (servers) makes a lot of sense otherwise if data were being retrieved from a single huge server can you imagine just how long it would take to get an answer to any single query? Forever! That’s how long it would take! The online traffic jam from queued queries would literally stretch from one end of the universe to the other!

Good! Now that’s out of the way let’s return to the example on hand.

When I type in the keyword term make money blogging in Google’s search box I get a result of 104 million listings for one IP address while I get 105 million for another IP address. If you were to type in make money blogging from your own computer (and thereby yet another different IP address) you would in all likelihood get different results which could be either slightly higher or lower than any of the two mentioned above.

Oh there’s one more aspect about listings on Google and that is they are dynamic not static. What I mean by that is that they change over time as sites come and go from the index; the manner and method with which Google determines that number is known solely to them but it does explain why the listings fluctuate from month to month.

Mega Google Listings Don’t Equate Into Mega Daily Searches!

It would seem quite logical and rational to presume that a keyword like make money blogging that has such a large number of listings on Google would naturally command plenty of searches each and every day. Well as things stand such a presumption would be entirely wrong! Fact is, the keyword phrase make money blogging has shockingly few people looking it up on a daily basis; about four to five searches to be precise. What is even more shocking is that this particular keyword has a very high difficulty level of approximately 76% on a scale where 100% indicates the highest difficulty level possible for any keyword.

Making matters worse is the fact that there are several sites listed on that Google Page One (GPO) for the keyword term make money blogging, all of which are striving for those pathetically few searchers numbering a mere four to five people or so per day. Which begs the question, why would anyone in their right mind purposefully target and optimize their blog for such a keyword?

The Search For A Solution Is The 1st Step In Persuasive Selling!

Read that subheader very carefully and let its ramifications sink in. Search For A Solution Is The 1st Step In The Persuasion Process! Powerful stuff huh? That single sentence explains why everybody who owns a blog or website strives so very hard to get their blog listed on Google Page One (GPO) for their most targeted and desired keyword term. Any accomplished sales person will quickly tell you that there are five essential conditions necessary to smoothly manipulate a transaction in whichever direction you wish it to proceed and that the very first condition required to ensure your desired outcome is The Search For A Solution!

A person who is searching for a solution is a great candidate to be manipulated because by looking for that solution they have already lowered their defenses to a certain degree! These are the kind of people that every marketer dreams of because they also happen to be the most qualified kind of prospect. The first step of persuasive selling entails identifying qualified prospects. A qualified prospect is someone who will actually make you money as opposed to a prospect who merely wastes your time as you try to persuade them to do that which you desire! This article however is not about persuasive selling so I shall not pursue this particular thread any longer but suffice it to say that by narrowing your targeted prospects down to those that are highly qualified you will be vastly increasing your chances to make money online!

With this concept of the 1st condition of persuasive selling freshly impinged in our minds let’s retrace our steps a little back to that perplexing quandary surrounding the keyword term of make money blogging and why bother search engine optimizing your blog for it?

Does It Make Sense To Optimize For The Keyword Make Money Blogging When It Only Has 4 To 5 Searches Per Day?

At the time of this writing the term make money blogging only averaged 5 searches per day but it is probable by the time you read this article the number of daily searches for the term may have increased. So the big question is why bother to optimize your blog for such a keyword if it only has five searches per day?

Remember what we just said about recognizing and identifying qualified prospects and while we are at it let’s not forget about that all important aspect of how the Search For A Solution Is The 1st Step In Persuasive Selling? Well therein lies the reason why anyone would go out of their way to target the little searched term of make money blogging.

A person who types in the query make money blogging is a person with a very specific and focused search. They wish to learn about how to make money online by blogging! And if you happen to be in the business of teaching people how to make money blogging for a fee then it makes very good and logical sense for you to include this poorly searched for term in your arsenal of keywords that you are optimizing your blog for.

How To Determine The True Value Of A Keyword

The best way to determine the true worth of a keyword is to determine how much online marketers are prepared to pay for a sponsored listing targeting a specific keyword on Google Page One (GPO). Sponsored listings are those listings found at the right hand margin of the Google Index Pages under the title “Sponsored Links.” Sponsored Links on Google are commonly known in the business as Google Adwords.

People who have sponsored listings (Adwords adverts) are advertisers who pay Google each and every time someone clicks on their advert or sponsored link. The amount the advertiser with the topmost sponsored listing pays for each click is a fairly accurate reflection of how valuable the industry believes that particular keyword to be worth!

Thus for example the keyword term make money online when evaluated by this method is worth about $3.00 per click while the term make money blogging is worth about $4.35 per click. Advertisers are quite willing to shell out that kind of money because they know that they can leverage it into considerably more money. Say for example you run a how to make money blogging tutorial class that costs each member $27/month then it makes sense aplenty to shell out $4.00 plus to get an ultra-qualified lead who is willing to pay you $27 per month for your wisdom!

Of the two examples listed above having a Google Page One (GPO) listing for make money online from an internet marketing perspective is more valuable than a GPO for make money blogging for the simple fact that there are several hundred searches everyday for make money online compared the paltry few for make money blogging! Put another way, you will get many more qualified leads that translate into money in your pocket if you have a Google Page One listing for the keyword term make money online!

To summarize, the application of keyword science is an art form which when mastered and strategically applied will ensure that you start making a profit from your internet business far quicker than you otherwise would if you employed a haphazard based-on-luck system. Luckily these days there are a good number of excellent keyword analysis tools that completely eliminate the guesswork from Strategic Keyword Application (SKA). And best of all a lot of those keyword tools come at very reasonable prices!

How To Play Nice In The Google Sandbox

Posted on : 19-05-2010 | By : Work At Home Blog | In : Internet Marketing

0

Setting-up and optimizing your website doesn’t mean that traffic will start pouring in from Google the next day. It is important for all website owners to understand what the Google Sandbox is, and what to do to make the best of their time within it.

What is the Google Sandbox?

The “ageing delay” commonly known as the Google Sandbox was designed to stop people setting-up multiple websites and pointing them to each other in a way to inflate link popularity. The Sandbox effects new website domain names by holding them in a sort of “online purgatory” state where any site hoping to rank well for any competitive keyword phrases will not appear in the search engine results for a period varying between 6 – 12 months. Nobody knows for sure how long it takes to get out of the Sandbox but it is vitally important to know it exists.

The Sandbox can have some very detrimental effects for small businesses that don’t have the big marketing budget to get the word out there any other way. However, it does provide the company owner with the incentive to use the time within the Sandbox to carefully optimize their site so once it gets out it can jump straight into the top 10 – 30 results.

The Google Sandbox shouldn’t be a reason for too much woe. New sites aren’t affected in the same way when it comes to getting listed in Yahoo and MSN, so website owners can benefit from traffic from these other websites whilst they continue to optimize for the big day when they are let out of the website into the Google search results.

How do I get out of it?

To put it very simply… you can’t. Getting in to it is the first thing you should be doing. If you don’t have a few links pointing from other websites to your site Google will never know it exists in the first place.

So what can you do?

Create valuable inbound links so that the googlebot spider can find your website in the first place and put it into the Sandbox.

List your site within directories that can provide you with a steady stream of visitors.

Conduct a Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaign such as Google Adwords or Yahoo Overture to drive visitors to your site.

Think creatively and conduct any off-line marketing campaigns that will send visitors to your site.

Most importantly…

Take the time to develop your website and business in such a way so that when a large amount of visitors start to arrive from the Google search results you’ll be ready and able to deal with this increase in traffic.

Analyze your website statistics so you can see where people come from and where they go to. Once a person visits your website they will be very quick to judge what they do and don’t like.

If you can understand at the early stages of your online presence what your visitors don’t like and where and why they leave before buying, inquiring, or whatever it is you want them to do on your site it will help you streamline your website in such a way that when you are released from the Sandbox you will be better able to provide them with an excellent service.

How To Get Your Business Going Using Google And Other Search Engines

Posted on : 19-05-2010 | By : Work At Home Blog | In : Internet Marketing

0

The secret of having a successful online business is actually no secret it all. Just as with an offline business an Internet business relies on the number of prospective customers that actually see what the business has to offer. On the Internet this is called traffic. Internet business is entirely about traffic.

Since the "inter" in Internet means that all sites are connected together your customers will only know that you exist by following a link to you from another site. Google is the number one site on the Internet where people go looking for things. Google sends millions of people to various sites every day after a search is done. On Google people enter in keywords looking for particular sites that interest them and Google does its best to suggest the top sites for that search word (otherwise known as a keyword). Being one of the top 10 sites for a search term can mean lots and lots of traffic for your business. Since Google shows your page to people that are actually looking for what you have to offer the chances of the visitor becoming a customer or repeat visitor is greatly increased. This traffic of customers looking specifically for what you have to offer is called "targeted" traffic.

The number one mission of all Internet businesses is to have their sites rank high for search words relevant to their business. If they do that hundreds or even thousands of people will do a search on Google see the results on the first page and visit their site every day. Some of those visitors will become customers. Its all about the numbers. But How do you rank high on Google? That's the most important question for any Internet business to ask. So lets take a look at that.

Google tries to find the most relevant pages with the most relevant information for any search word or phrase but in addition Google looks for sites that are most recommended by other sites for that search term. For Google a recommendation is nothing more than a link from another site. Each link that comes to your site is seen as a vote for your site especially if a site links to you for the search keywords. Lets say you have a perfume business online and another site links to you with the words "best perfumes" - That's counted as a vote by Google when it comes to the word "perfume". That's how it works.

The more votes for your site (called backlinks) together with how relevant the information on your page is for the search term (like "perfumes") is what will determine whether your site or page appears on the front page of Google when a search is done. But to Google all sites and pages are NOT the same. Google uses what is known as Pagerank or PR to determine which sites are more authoritative than others. Pagerank is just a number (from 0 to 10 that Google has assigned to various web pages. Basically all you need to know is that the higher the PR the more important a link from that site to yours will be. In other words for maximum benefit getting links from highly rated websites is the best strategy to move your web business to the front page of Google's search results. Doing that will along with getting great content for your site is the only way to rank high on Google (the same can be said for the next largest search engine sites -Yahoo and Bing).

If you're honest about your site then you can easily put content on it that fits the search words that people are looking for. Great content is one of the pillars of what is known as search engine optimization or SEO. You can make changes to your site in its title, in its headings and other places on your pages that can cause your site to move up to the top of Googles results. The harder part though is finding sites that will link back to you. Thats the second ingredient we talked about. There are a number of ways to get other sites to link back to you.

A) you can write good content. Hope that people will find it and read it and some sites will link back to it.
B) you can exchange links with other web site owners.
C) you can write content or participate on other sites that allow you to link back to your site.

The best strategies for backlinks are to use a little of all three. A is something you'll need to do anyway because relevant content is important on its own. B is the slowest as you have to negotiate with other web site owners who may end up not giving you a link or backlink at all. C is the most direct and easiest way to achieve a number of backlinks that will put your business on the front page of Google. Fortunately there are alot of lists that are available on the Internet to find these sites where you can participate and have links back to your site. You can search Google itself to find a few of them although the best ones can be difficult and require time to find. You may need hundreds of backlinks if you are in a competitive market.

The opportunities on the Internet are endless if you are willing to add High Pagerank backlinks to your site and provide great content. Theres more to SEO then just that but if you grasp whats here you are well on your way and you can always check the resource section for more details much too long to be in one article.

How To Advertise Your Business By Traffic Generation

Posted on : 19-05-2010 | By : Work At Home Blog | In : Internet Marketing

For practically every kind of business you can think of, you can be confident that you can discover them on the Internet. Online businesses are absolutely necessary these days. Every kind of business is making the jump to the Internet. Are you being left behind? You may find that bringing your business online will lead to more rewards beyond that of the time-honored brick and mortar venture.

Establishing a business on the Internet is the first step. Making it successful is a further project. Given the immense potential of the Internet, we can make an intelligent guess that other businesses just like your business are already online. Because online competition is often stiff, getting your share of the online market is seemingly impossible to do. For some business sectors this is a very large challenge. But, it is realistic and not unachievable.

This first step involves building a website. Website development is a further topic, and there are many resources to help you do this.

Once your business website is online, you have to advertise your site so other people on the Internet can learn about your business and visit your site. This means you ought to actively advertise your business site. You can actively market your site in various ways. One effective approach is by article marketing.

Article marketing, as you can imagine, starts with an article. You'll need to write about some feature of your business, product line, or service. You should examine each of your products, the value of using them and the problems they help overcome. You could probably write a number of articles about each individual characteristic of any product or service you offer. This gives you more than enough opportunity to produce a number of quality articles related to what you have to offer on your website.

Of course, articles with material related to your site is what's important here. Readers of your articles who are interested in the information in the article are precisely the prospects you want to visit your site. These prospects are called targeted visitors. They represent quality traffic.

Along with each article you write, you'll create a resource box where you will recommend your website and incorporate one or two links pointing to your site. Authors typically offer more information about the topic of the article on their site. You can even offer a complimentary report expounding on the subject your article could only summarize. This is successful at persuading curious readers to go to your website.

After you complete your writing, you'll next distribute your article. You can distribute your article to several article directories or arrange with an article distribution service to present your article to article directories for you. After you've distributed your article, various newsletter publishers or website owners can choose your article. Newsletter publishers are in search of content for their newsletters and may include your article in an edition of their newsletter. Website owners often want additional material for their sites and can republish your article on their sites.

Article directories categorize your articles to a suitable field or genre. Nearly all of these article directories include a search feature to help their users find articles with specific keywords. Your article should have widely used keywords in the title or in the article itself to make it easier to find. Use the same keywords that online users employ to look for what they want in both article directories and search engines.

The search capability of article directories permits people interested in receiving information for their website or newsletter to rapidly find what they need. And, if they are looking for material related to your topic, your article has the prospect for further distribution.

So, what precisely does all this accomplish for you?

The more publicity your article receives across the Web, the more quality traffic you will get. And, as your articles show up on additional websites, the greater the interest search engines show in your article and in the links to your website. Your site will climb in the search engines for significant keyword phrases. This also generates more targeted visitors to your website.

In short, article marketing is a powerful means of generating targeted traffic and providing links pointing to your business website. Your articles, by themselves, will encourage interested readers to click to your site. The links pointing to your website, displayed on sites using your article, can help search engines determine the subject of your site and the number of links will improve its perceived level of significance.

In order for your online business to survive, you must have a constant traffic flow to your business website. If you are looking to flourish, attract ever more traffic to your business site by creating more articles. Do not undervalue the power of articles. They tell all potential online consumers about your business. Do not settle for merely a small number of articles. The more articles, the more traffic your business website will get. And, the more profits you will bring in.

How Free And Affordable Web Applications Can Liberate Your Small Business

Posted on : 19-05-2010 | By : Work At Home Blog | In : Internet Marketing

0

Whether you're on the move with a laptop or sitting pretty in your home office, Web applications could be the solution to your business software woes.

We've grown accustomed to the burdens of software: high initial investment, downloads and installations, the ongoing expense of upgrades, and adding inevitable fixes and patches. Unfortunately, software chains us to the computer we've installed it on, while wireless technology and laptop computing offer us freedom and flexibility. Thanks to advanced Web technology, total liberation is within reach.

Benefits to Using Web applications

Welcome to webware, full-featured applications that operate within a Web browser. Perfect examples are webmail applications like Yahoo!Mail, Gmail, and Hotmail. They are available everywhere there is Internet access with a standard browser, like Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Opera. There is nothing to download to use these programs, fixes and new features are available without installing upgrades, and they're free to use.

Webware is sometimes supported by advertising--like our webmail examples--but some webware is both ad-free and cost-free, while other webware providers charge a subscription fee. Payable by the month or year, subscriptions are often priced in a tiered structure. Higher fees offer access to premium features, and with first-tier pricing typically under $15 per month--and often free--webware is accessible to most everyone. With or without a paid subscription, you won't find webware with the large upfront licensing costs of software.

And because webware lives within a browser, it will work on any computer operating system that has one. Software written for a Mac won't easily run on a PC and vice versa, but webware runs the same on OSX, Linux, and the many versions of Windows. When working with webware, you're free to work on whatever computer is available to you, wherever you happen to be.

What Webware Means for Your Business

IMAGINE...

...working fearlessly because your files and applications are on a managed, secured server instead of your isolated workstation, immune to data loss due to accident, theft, or hard drive failure.

...traveling light because you can work from any Internet-connected computer at your destination, instead of toting a laptop.

...bringing on new employees or temporary staff without the expense of additional software licenses.

...no more downloads, installations, or upgrades. You simply log in and get to work.

...needing less of a computer--with no software to store you won't need as much hard drive space.

...saving hundreds of dollars by abandoning software that has a thousand features you will never use.

...paying a small monthly fee (or nothing at all!) for an application that does just what you need it to do.

Business Essential Web Applications

Compliments of Google, business essential webware is widely available. Gmail has textual advertising, but Google Docs' word processor, spreadsheet application, and presentation creator are 100% ad-free, and so is Google Calendar. Each of these has key features of their Microsoft Office match, but is free to use without downloads or installation.

37signals has a mighty webware portfolio offering an information organizer, group chat, project management, and an online contact manager. They aim to develop simple but powerful, easy-to-use webware. Considering the kudos from BusinessWeek, Time magazine, and their 1 million satisfied customers, they have certainly achieved their goal. Each of their Web applications includes a feature-rich free subscription plan and a free trial period.

Making Webware Work For You

You know your business best. You may benefit from one or two Web-based applications or find you can use webware exclusively. Whatever you choose for your business essentials, also consider webware for specialized business functions such as postal services, invoicing, and image editing.

New web applications appear each month as developers jump on the Web 2.0 bandwagon. Along your online and offline travels, keep your eyes and ears open for opportunities to shed the limitations and financial burdens of software to embrace the affordability and mobility of Webware.

Have A New Business Idea 5 Questions To Ask Yourself

Posted on : 19-05-2010 | By : Work At Home Blog | In : Internet Marketing

0

Starting your own business is no small task. The amount of effort, time, and money that goes into such an endeavor can be overwhelming at best. So the primary concern for most entrepreneurs looking to start their own business is: Is this even an opportunity worth pursuing? If that question has been weighing on your mind, here are 5 questions to ask yourself:

1. Do I Love This Idea? If you’re interested in opening your own business simply for the money, then chances are you’ll never get your business off the ground. The process of opening your own business is so time-consuming and difficult that you’d better be doing something you love, something that fascinates you to no end. The whole point of entrepreneurship is the opportunity to do whatever it is that you want to do, so choose to do something you love.

2. Is Someone Else Interested? Let’s face it, you can start a business focused on something you love, but you’re not going to get very far unless someone else loves it too. Even in the earliest stages of growing your business, you need to find someone who’s willing to pay you for your product or service. That’s the only way you’ll be able to keep sinking money into your business. Ask your customer(s) for feedback on what you’re doing right and what you could be doing better.

3. Does It Cost Too Much? Chances are that you’re not independently wealthy, so make sure you don’t put too many of your precious few funds into starting up your business. Choose something that doesn’t involve exorbitant start-up costs. If start-up costs require too much of your money, you’ll probably bail out before you reach profitability. If your business does require large amounts of start-up money, try beginning with a smaller endeavor or a related service to help you save money before you make any larger investment.

4. Am I Different? You’re not going to get very far if you’re selling the same product as your competitor at the same price and in the same way. You need to find something distinctive that will set you apart from everyone else in your market. Is your product unique? Do you provide an extra service that your competitor doesn’t provide? If you’re the new kid on the block, it’s going to be difficult for you to compete only on price. You have to find something more substantial that makes you stand out and convince potential customers that they can’t live without whatever it is that you have to offer.

5. Can I Do This By Myself? Do you know how to create a business website? Do you know how to create a business budget? If you don’t know how to do the simplest of business-building tasks, then you’re not ready to start your own business. There’s hope, however. You can always enlist the help of others who have expertise in the areas where you’re green, if you have the funds available. But your best bet is to teach yourself everything you need to know about owning and running own your business before you start. Just look at all the restaurants that fold almost as soon as they’ve opened. Many folks are under the impression that running a restaurant is a snap, but they don’t understand all the complexities involved. Make sure you know exactly what to expect of yourself and your business before diving in headfirst.

Starting your own business is an exciting prospect, especially if you have a business idea that you’re just crazy about. But make sure you’re ready before you jump right in. Find out if others are interested in what you’re offering, make sure you have the necessary funds to start your business, and prepare yourself as much as possible for this huge undertaking. Most of all, enjoy the wonder of being your own boss and running your own company. There’s nothing like it!

With all the hype out there using pay per click, whether it be Google,
Bing or Yahoo, and now even Facebook, if you do not know what your
doing, you can become bankrupt in no time. Yes pay per click will
bring you the most leads for your online marketing business, but not all those
leads are good ones. Most of the leads are just tire kickers to see
what you have, or are a competitor knowing if they click on your ad
you will be charged money. If you use pay per click the correct way,
you will manage to get 3-5% hot leads out of it.

There are banner ads that work pretty good, because if you find the
right place to put them, they will be flashing in your prospects eyes
every time they search for something. But they can be very costly if
you do not know what you are doing.

Budget Advertising

If you are new to internet marketing business, and on a small budget,
the best way to start is with low cost and free advertising. There is online
classifieds, social media, web 2.0, and videos.

Placing online classifieds is time consuming, but either you have
money or time, usually not both. There are hundreds of free online
classifieds sites to place your ad in. Craigslist is one of the
hottest right now. They do have rules so best to abide by them.

Web 2.0 sites are mostly all free, they are sites you submit your
articles to. With a really good content article and a great resource
box, you can get some really good quality leads. One great thing about
articles is they will stay out there for your prospects to read for
many years, unlike if you use pay per click. If you shut your pay per
click ad down, your done.

The other way to advertise is with video. Using YouTube is a free
video site. All you do is film a good content video and upload it to
YouTube. Find good keywords using Google keyword tool and your video
can be up on Googles home search page within a few minutes. And just
like Articles, your videos will stay on the internet for a long time.

Last but not least is using Social Media for advertising. Social media
sites like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Myspace do take a lot
longer to get leads from. You have to get yourself known first by
having a good picture and bio of yourself. You need to be on social
sites a lot posting good content and interacting, eventually you will
find someone that is interested in your business.

So if your growing broke trying to market your online marketing business, then
start with a small budget first and grow from there. Even though it
may take longer to get leads with low cost and free advertising, you
leads will be ready to buy leads not tire kickers.

Google Assassin IS A SCAM

Day Job Killer's author Chris McNeeny, kills himself by launching this ridiculous DJK Assassin and ditches mud to his reputation!

First of all, the title wasn't even there to attract your attention just to show you an honest report and recommending Google Assassin in the end, because I hate it.

To begin with, Google Assassin is not even an original product. Google assassin is just a re - launch of the affiliate - den that has already been out for a while. And I don't even think it was his own product. It was formally owned by Andrew Fox and it's a piece of Andrew's CB Affiliate Formula. It's totally not a new product and not up-to-date tools either.

I'm not against "Black Hat" marketing as long as it's moral and legal. I personally own Chris's previous upstanding products like Adwords Miracle, Affiliate Project X, and Day Job Killer. All these products contained few exclusive marketing tips and strategies, and they are definitely worth its price tag. Only after reading Day job killer ( DJK ), that I realized that it's possible to truly make decent money with the combination of the Amazon affiliate program and PPC.

DJK Assassin is good-for-nothing, meaningless, BS - CRAP. And Chris, who was considered a genius marketer after Adwords Miracle, is now a mumbo jumbo scammer! And this is what exactly happens, when a marketer completely gets obsessed with money.

In his sales letter, Chris shows you his $169K payday. Now listen to me carefully... He hasn't made that much of money by selling affiliated products. He made the money by selling his own product " Day Job Killer! "

On the sales letter, it promised to " auto create websites in 2 minutes ". I didn't find one piece of software that automatically generated any type of website or landing page. It also said you get the " DJK Blueprint Series "... Well after I paid my $67 a month payment, I then realize that I have to pay another $47 a month to get the DJK Blueprint series which was already promised on the sales letter.

Now let me get to the main issue. What is this Google Assassin?

Basically, you are getting membership to a site called AffilitesDen. com ( Later I heard that this membership site is a part of Andrew Fox's CB Affiliate Formula - but I'm not sure ) This site contains some useful information about market research and creating PPC campaigns. It also has a funny tool called " Adwords Ad Generator. " To check this tool's functionality, I entered " Xbox " in the field to get an ad suggestion. I got following result!

Loooking for xbox?
" Xbox Exposed "
NO MORE XBOX
xbox Scam?
XBOX?

WOW! That's funny - if you go with these suggestions; you are guaranteed to lose everything in PPC drainage!

Okay, now let me talk about other tools. Basically, you'll get four Desktop softwares;

The Daddy
Adwords Micro Nicher
The Campaigner
And Article spotter.

Don't use any of these tools even if you get it for free!
Well, it took me couple of weeks to actually grasp what these tools are supposed to achieve and how they work!

To shorten the length of this review I'm providing very short details for these tools.

Tool 1 - The Daddy Keywords Extractor ( or Daddy ):

This tool will help you to find highly profitable keywords for any given niche ( keyword ). It works by finding search volume and number of advertisers; Furthermore, give you assessment of profitable keywords. With this tool you can also locate most targeted adwords ad for the given keyword - so that you can copy it!

Normally this tools triggers spam results. For example if I search " credit cards " I get result for " diet pills " etc!

Tool 2 - Adwords Micro Nicher:

This is good for adwords content network targeting. This tool will aid you to locate " content pages " for any keywords in organic search results, which also contains prominent Adsense ads. You pay a lot less when you target content pages as the opposed search networks. Although this idea sounds good, the software has lots of bugs. I think manual research will give you more productive results.

Tool 3 - Campaign Kidnap Tool ( The Campaigner )

This is the hot tool of the year 2007. Currently there is close to a dozen tools related to " Competition spy. " The Campaign Kidnap allows you to find your competitor's ads and keywords for their Google Adwords campaigns. You can even see which ads are running with which keywords. This allows you to either " swipe " the campaign with very few changes - or you can use it for competitive intelligence.

The downside of this tool is obviously, you can't figure out if the campaign is really profitable. We don't know if the campaign is running profitably for many days. To check if it's a profitable campaign you have to save today's result and check back after 2 - 3 days; if it's still running you can assume that it's profitable.

Tool 4 - Article Spotter

The Article Spotter tool uses other people's article marketing efforts as a backdoor research strategy to help you find winning keywords to target.

Well, I can just find that out by searching my keyword in Google also. Takes 10 seconds to do it manually for FREE. I haven't found any value in this tool... So let's forget about it.

That's the story about Google Assassin. I also got a bonus course for creating and marketing HOT info products. That's a nice course... Chris definitely knows how to create BLAZING product and market with hyped sales letter and so!

Overall, IMO, it's not worth $67 a month. There are plenty of tools that do the SAME exact thing for FREE. Not only that, but I believe it's dishonest to promise something on the sales letter, and not deliver it... just another over hyped rehashed product. Spyfu. com is a great FREE tool that does more than affiliateden by itself.

I would recommend you Wealthy Affiliate University.

Wealthy Affiliate is an interactive marketing community that can help you become a success online. They have all the tools and resources necessary to turn you into a successful Internet marketer. The Wealthy Affiliate tools include case studies, guides, tutorials, keyword lists, turnkey websites, and many more.

Google AdWords Strategies

I was driving down the street the other day and saw a billboard. A big billboard. One so big it practically eclipsed the sun! It advertised a sunny vacation destination and as I gazed at that picture I was momentarily whisked away in my mind to a beach with lapping waves.

Then I had to laugh because almost directly after that billboard came a small one. Not just smaller? tiny. I don?t remember what it advertised but the disparity between the two heightened the importance of the vacation and minimized (in my mind, at least) the message of the second.

It made me think of the internet and internet marketing. The Internet is the ?great leveler? in that it allows each business ? large or small ? to potentially reach the purchasing public in the same way. Theoretically the small ?mom-and-pop shop? and a giant, multinational corporation has the same amount of real estate, your computer screen, to make their pitch. If you?re closer to the mom-and-pop shop than you are to the multinational corporation, here are some ideas to help you get your name out there. After all, no matter what size of start you have, it?s only one sale after another that will keep you in business!

Google AdWords are a great way to do that, for the same reason: Your one-man-show (or, one-woman-show!) has the same amount of AdWord space as meganational corporations like GE or GM.

These popular ads are 4 lines long. The top line is the title, there are two middle lines, and the fourth line is the URL. Every single add is the same. Unfortunately, too many businesses use the same-old approach when writing AdWords ads.

Here are some great ideas to help you AdWords fly off the screen and shake your prospects by the shoulders and say ?hey, go to this site!?

Title Line Ask a question in your Title line and don?t answer it in the middle two lines. Instead, simply entice your prospect to visit your site for more information. (For example, ?Do you want to earn more money without working harder??)

Remember the AIDA principle (Attention, Interest, Decision, Action) and get your prospect?s attention with the title). Be shocking, outrageous, and catchy.

Body text Write down what you want to say, then work on shortening it. Don?t try shortening your ad first. Don?t waste words. Each word is precious. Be sure to use power words and short, readable sentences. Write several ideas down and have a few friends pick their favorite.

Throughout your ad, use powerful, motivating words like ?free,? ?fast,? and ?new.? (For example, ?Hurry, for a limited time, you can get this free solution downloaded to your computer instantly!? Tantalize your prospects with the words ?learn more.?

This section requires you to use the Interest and Decision portions of the AIDA sales-writing format.

URL Don?t forget about the URL! Harness the power of the fourth AdWords line. If you don?t have a URL that talks about your business, consider buying one. Preferably, buy a URL that shows how you provide a solution? don?t highlight the problem. (For example, ?www.DownloadMoneyMakingIdeasNow.com?)

Use a clever URL to help people take action and click to your site.

One great AdWords ad might look like this:

Want to earn huge cash online? Quit your job. Don?t waste time commuting. Live free! www.Work-From-Home-Success.com

Another one might look like this:

Don?t click on this site. We want serious investors. No window-shoppers. www.Double-Your-Money-In-One-Year.com

Enjoy the same sized billboard as the multi-national corporations. Be clever and daring and get customers to your site!

Google Adwords Demo To Promote Affiliate Programs

Posted on : 19-05-2010 | By : Work At Home Blog | In : Internet Marketing

The key to creating successful ads on Google's Adwords Program is Relevancy. In order to have a high click-through-rate, your ads have to be relevant to the keywords you are using.

Google Adwords Demo

The normal search engine rankings appear on the left just like any other search engine. The ads on the right hand side are paid ads through Adwords. The thing to pay attention to is the fact that the ads, which are ranking high for the particular keyword contain that keyword. This increases relevance and therefore increases the click-through-rate as well. (PPC mainly determines position of your ad, but relevance will determine click-through rate.) This is why you shouldn't have just one ad that you dump a thousand keywords into for a campaign. How are you going to know what keywords were effective and which simply wasted your money?

Post A Google Adwords Ad With Specific Targeting

This may sound difficult, but really all it consists of is the following: Do a search in Google for the main keywords of the product you are planning on affiliating. The keywords should include mainly product specific keywords and phrases. The number one keyword or phrase to include is the product's Brand Name or Title. This is because not everyone buys right away and when they return to finally purchase (Do a Search through Google) you can take credit for a pre-sold prospect with little to no effort.

Think about it Anyone who would click on an ad which is specifically targeting that product's Brand Name or Title has already been to its salespage and is returning to either buy or investigate the product further Right? This is where you can collect commissions, without having to really work for them.

Watch Ads From Other Affiliates

Before you spend your hard-earned cash, check to make sure that this method is profitable. Do a search for the keyword in question and take note of what ads are currently being posted. Write down the ad and the address displayed within it. (Plus the keyword you searched for i.e. secretaffiliateweapon.com, affiliate weapon) Return to Google 5-6 days later and do a search for the same keyword and see if the same ad is still being published their. If you do not see it right off the bat, check the 2nd or 3rd page of Google's search results.

If the ad still remains posted, then this ad is profitable and so is the keyword. (Few affiliates will continue to run any campaigns which are causing them to lose money.) Now you know that you will be able to pull sales with this keyword.
